New Year’s Day – Main Range Track, Charlotte Pass to Mt Kosciusko (and back!)

Today we smashed 22 alpine kilometres walking this beautiful track and climbing Australia’s highest mountain – even though our mountain ain’t that big, It was a great way to start the new year! How blessed are we to live in such a stunning country?

  1. It was great to see these photos of the Kosciusko area! I’m sure your father has told you about the times we went up Kozzy when we were children – the first time was on Christmas Day and there were deep snow drifts near Seaman’s Hut and again on the side of Kozzy; it was hard walking. The second time, there was no snow at all and we were able to drive to the top! (I guess that isn’t allowed now). I always loved the Snowy Mountains area.
