Gabba Goodness – Woolloongabba Antique Centre

One day between Christmas and New Year… Aunty Kaz, Richie and Bec went for a little shop down at the Woolloongabba Antique Centre in Brisbane.

There were some lovely jewels in that cupboard, wasn’t there Karyn? P.S. Nice butt shot! Ooo Hello Oroton!

It was fun searching down all the aisles in the different stalls for treasure.

We found a lovely vintage dress circa 1920-30’s for a cool $1000 – $2000. I think it was Chanel or something… Karyn will know. That’s it in the front on the left of the lavender tub with the Don’t Touch sign. Richie at this stage was sipping his cup of tea in the coffee shop.

My heart skipped a beat when I walked around the corner and saw “Found in France”. It was probably my favourite, but definitely out of my budget.

Then I found this little charm which was totally in the budget. Sorry about the artist photo, but I think it’s kinda cool.

“Two Large Pizza’s, thanks… One for Karyn and one for Bec.” Kermit the Frog telephone. Circa 1980’s.

If you haven’t been to this place, it’s worth a look. Even if you aren’t keen on antiques, it’s worth a squiz for the chance to stumble across something from your childhood for a good giggle.

Like Richie and his phone…

Telephone to Glory?
